• Random Finish – If you are seeking perfection and uniformity, then concrete may not be for you! Being a natural, handmade product, each piece will be unique in finish. There will always be some small variance between the sample and finished product.
  
  
• Timeframe – Each basin is poured to order and has a turnaround time between 3 to 6 weeks plus shipping. If you are needing this basin in your life, then simply consider this factor when planning for a home remodel project.
  
  
• Investment – Concrete basins fall into tier 3 luxury renovation products. The investment is a little more than your everyday, boring white porcelain basin (sorry peeps) but it most certainly adds those super luxurious spa vibes to your bathroom renovation!
  
  
• Porous – Concrete is a naturally porous material, similar to marble. There is some simple rules to follow in the care of your concrete basin which I will cover below… read on my concrete friend!

Are concrete basins easy to keep clean?

Simple answer? Yes! Simply use warm water and a soft, non-abrasive cloth. Simples! A lot of people overthink how to clean their concrete and remember, simple is best!

How can I care for my concrete basin?

Concrete basins are durable and hardwearing but still require a certain amount of care to keep them looking their best. Our sealers offer great stain protection but we still recommend you do not allow substances such as hair dye, highly pigmented cosmetics and/or any acidic substances to come into contact with your basin as they may stain/damage the sealer.

Steer well clear of acidic or citrus based cleaners, bleach or any abrasive cleaning utensils like scrubbing brushes, steel wool, harsh cloths etc. Like I mentioned above, just warm water and a soft cloth do the trick to clean your beautiful concrete basin!

Is my concrete basin sealed?

Yes it is. We use a premium world-class reactive sealer which penetrates through the layers of the concrete providing excellent waterproofing and protection.
