Firstly! Welcome! Great to see you!
We are relative newcomers to the artisan concrete field and like many others who have chosen to work with concrete, it has been one hell of a ride!
Noticing how bland bathrooms are becoming and seeing white porcelain basin after white porcelain basin, we decided to shake it up a little... and BOOM! Lets see some colour and texture in these bathrooms, huh?!
Why we LOVE concrete?
Well, firstly, it is so much fun to play with! Challenging? yes! fun, so much!
Demolding day arrives and Todd wakes me with a cup coffee, fully dressed and we almost skip down to the studio, excited to unwrap and reveal what has been curing, its almost like Christmas! (every second day lol)
Lets talk textures...
Like everything else in this world, concrete is not everyone's cup of java. If you are looking for symmetry and perfection?, I encourage you to look elsewhere. There is something raw and natural about concrete, from the way it feels to how it looks. What I love is that no two pieces are EVER the same... I mean, you are getting a unique piece that no one else has... I mean, how cool is that?! No offence to those identical, generic porcelain basins, but I would much rather walk into my bathroom and adore what I see - its time to start loving your bathrooms people.
